“It’s the fascia that envelops and crosses joints. Joints become the red flags; they tell you if and how something is wrong. You have to look for relationship, not only of joints, but within all the mesodermal tissue. This will give you a more inclusive picture of what is going on in a body than if you look at the muscles.”
–Dr. Ida P. Rolf
"Magnus's instructional style leads to that crystal-clear movement we all hope for when investing in a hands-on massage CE seminar; that moment of revelation when one realizes this work just makes sense. Powerful and effective, this is something I can do to make a genuine difference in the well-being of my clients. Magnus's three-part DVD series is an invaluable learning tool to use as a complement to his CE seminars."
Description: Both the 8-hour Synergetic Myofascial Method Creating Structural Balance for Functional Movement and Breath and the 6-hour CE courses include PowerPoint lectures on the history, scientific research, and strategies of fascial bodywork and manual therapy demonstrations of turnkey advanced myofascial techniques with active and passive client movement based on the work of Dr. Ida P. Rolf. The 8-hour CE addresses fascial structural balance to improve breath and shoulder girdle, spine, pelvis, and head position in postural and movement dysfunction. The 6-hour CE addresses specific myofascial pelvic tilts, shifts, rotations, and elevations and their effect on spinal, shoulder, and head positioning. Synergetic myofascial therapy includes a variety of easy-to-use advanced fascial therapy techniques, such as rocking, movement, functional assessments, and stretching, to solve pain and dysfunctional mobility patterns. Magnus has a direct lineage to Dr Rolf through his teacher, her protégé, and successor Emmett Hutchins. He is a KMI-certified SI practitioner. Magnus has worked with many professional athletes in the Olympic games, as well as NFL players. Bobbi is an experienced Structural Integration teacher also certified by Dr. Sue Morter as an Energy Codes Coach and Body Awake Yoga teacher
